Traditional Japanese Medicine

Robert Hayden, L.Ac.

I'm Robert Hayden, and this is my attempt at a web page.

I'm an acupuncturist, in practice since 1995. My specialty is Japanese acupuncture, specifically a very technically refined style known as Keiraku Chiryo, which is usually translated as "Meridian Therapy". My quest to learn this style took me to a number of locations, including Tokyo and Osaka in Japan. I've studied with a number of Japanese practitioners, including extensive study with the Toyohari Association, as well as Denmei Shudo, Masanori Tanioka and others.

This page is aimed primarily at acupuncturists, bodyworkers and students, and it is intended to share some of the knowledge I have gained. I hope it will inspire some further study in those who are interested in this subject.

I'm updating the site periodically, and I hope to be able to keep up with all the interest that has been generated in Japanese palpatory acupuncture and herbal medicine.
